She laughes softly touching his mind with a gentle sweep as he dunked her under. ~I swim like a fish my love~
The laughter still in her voice as she slipped past him and into the darkness, the only light being the lights with them.
They swam for several minutes until she felt a warmth to the water. Had he felt it? She hesitated, waiting for him to come alongside her. Taking his hand, she motioned to the water around them. ~Feel it?~~ she asked.

He chuckles softly through the link, nodding ~Yes I do feel it my Love~
He swam with you, enjoying it almost as much as you, through the emotions you fed him, smiling widely as you take his hand, nodding
~Yes I do~

She hesitated, feeling the water caress her. Warmer here, not there. As she lingered, she searched outward thinking, feeling....touching the water as it touched her.
She gestured towards the left, heading quickly that way. The passage narrowed brushing against her as she headed through.
Light flickered down, setting pinprick beams upon the water. She broke the surface as she headed towards the lapping edge. A soft rush of water touching her ears caught her gaze.
She breathed a soft sigh, her hand reaching backwards for him.

He followed without hesitation, swimming through the narrow passage after her. He could feel the soft rush of water as he broke the surface right behind her. His own crystal lighting up the cavern around them. His hand taking hers as he comes along side, holding to the edge.
"What's wrong?" He could tell that while his senses were very good, water to her was more a part of her than it was him. Water was to her as Fire and flying were to him. He could feel the change in fire and winds even before they reach him.
His senses reaching out around them.
The Second continued to watch and move in perfect silence with them, though not in the water. invisible passages only 4 of them can traverse. They had watched for centuries and now it was nearing the time when all would be known. They had managed to remain hidden except for some chosen ones since the arrival of the Dalhria, but soon all would come from seclusion and the truth would be known.

She grasped his hand tightly, "Nothing...." She continued to smile as she inhaled deeply. Fresh air, the clean scent of water.
Step by step she moved from the water to the smoothed stone. Worn down by years of rising and falling waters, the surface felt as smooth as polished glass to her feet. A soft sigh trembled through her body as she enjoyed the sensation.
As their eyes adjusted to the light, they realized it was brighter here, light flickering down through small portals around them. It was as if the sunlight shining down gave the illusion of starlight at night. Turning her head again, she faced where she heard the sound of rushing water. Not loud, but the sound grew on her as she stood embracing the sound as if she could feel the water itself washing over her.
Smoothly washed, and nearly invisible in the dim light were more steps that led upward and towards a beckoning light.

He looks around, rising out of the water with her, standing his brow furrowed slightly as if remembering something, which he was. He turned also towards the sound of rushing water and smiles, nodding, "Yes, we have found it my Love!" he looked to where the light came from and moved there, he could have changed and flew up but he chose to climb the rocks, looking into the next Cavern. He had gone up about 30 feet before he stopped at an opening. He could see at the other end the glistening water as it fell from the great height it did. He held onto the ledge and considered if he could fly them, but it was too narrow for his large form. All he needed were wings. He laughed to himself then climbed down before he move to her side again.
Wrapping his arms round her waist he could feel what she felt and was enjoying it. This place was myth and legend to his kind, and now he knew the stories and memories were real.

She hugged him tightly, enjoying his pleasure as he had enjoyed her own. It was a delight watching him move up the rocks, the leggy length of his body, the water that still glistened upon his skin.
"What have we found, my love?"

He looks around, taking your hand and leading you a long a narrow path with water on both sides, it soon turns into a short tunnel. At the end of the tunnel are a set of narrow steps, unnatural.
Reaching the top he leads you out beside him, even his eyes widen. This was the chamber he had just seen. As they look around 5 waterfalls can be seen just in this one chamber at varying heights, in the middle is a large shallow pool. The light from their crystals seems brighter, but it's the other crystals in the stone and rock walls that join with them to light the cavern up.
"Our Kin called it púsulil fossav, you would call it 1000 Waterfalls." he lets it sink in for a few moments then continues. "We always thought it was myth or simple legend, more than one truth brought together to exaggerate a story. And we believed it was mostly above ground, in the deep mountains, but now I see that it is the Cavern of 1000 waterfalls. It is amazing to have found it and been able to see it. I see now that the Ancestors of the Dalhria came here when they were escaping the humans. No one could ever find it. some of the underground rivers have so many off shoots that you could miss it and not even know it."
He did let out a sigh, "but we must be careful in here as it will be easy to get turned around. waterfalls and rivers flow into and out of each other. To find the one that will take us out will be difficult. There are dozens or more of caverns like this one and as far as I know there is no one alive that knows the way out." she gives her hand squeeze, looking to her, "We will find our way out" he smiled reassuringly, he really did believe it.

She smiled as she felt his hand tighten upon her own. More than just confident in him, she was confident in this place. Where he saw a puzzle, she saw relaxation and beauty.
"I know" she said softly with another look around. She shivered slightly as she felt the air and water around. The sound like a gentle melody to her.
"I can see why anyone would come, it's beautiful here....peaceful."

It was a puzzle for sure, and it could be a nasty one from the stories he's heard. He knew of one of his Kin that also came through here, but he doesn't tell you that he didn't make it out of here.
"There are those who didn't make it out of these caverns. But many who did eventually. We must look for signs, leave some of our own so we know we had been here or down a certain tunnel."
He did see the beauty and she could feel he was relaxed, but he also knew the dangers of this place. Some of them may be in the waters.
He turns to her, taking both her hands and looking into her eyes, "You must be careful in the waters my Love. Some of the stories are of beasts that reside in some of the deeper pools of the caverns." His eyes were set, he was serious, more serious than he had been. He wasn't about to lose you to them because he'd end up killing every last one of them..they were beasts, they were not like Dragonkind so he would not want to do something to bring a species to extinction, they were just as important for the balance of this world as the humans and dragons, the Dahlria and .. the others.
His hand reached up to caress her cheek and he kissed her softly. He smiles again, "Come lets go find a high spot to rest and .. " he paused, sniffing his heightened senses allow him to smell something they shouldn't be. Releasing one hand he starts off towards the scent, rising up on the rocks and moving down a narrow corridor. As they got closer, she would be able to tell that wood was burning and fish was being cooked.
The room they entered was dry, a small stream of water that moved through it and in the middle was another fire built, food once again was cooking over it. This happened before, and they didn't question it, but this time he looks to Reldai with that question in his eyes.. who is following us?

"Behind or ahead?" she murmered soflty. The food smelled appetising and she was more than a little hungry.
Moving ahead of him, she took the food from the fire and placed it out for them. "It's....nice, but...have you any idea?" She asked as she took a bite.
She'd taken his warning to heart, conceding he had a point. Her worry as not getting lost, for she'd never been lost in water. But...this was different, she felt it.
Things were changing, more than she had anticipated.

He was relieved that she took his warning to heart, releasing her hand as she goes ahead to place it out. He sits down beside her, shrugging softly. He took a bit as he thought on that for a moment, finishing the food in his mouth he spoke after a couple of seconds.
"Have you ever had something at the edge of your thoughts or memory? Where you'd get a glimpse, but that glimpse never really explained what was there?" He paused a moment, then continued, "That's what I'm experiencing right now. I know it's not the Dalhria themselves, but I.. " he was getting frustrated, "I don't know. It's there, on the edge of memory. But its like its been purposely hidden not just our kind or yours, but the world."
He growled a little in that frustration, shaking his head. He should be able to recall because he knew it was there.
He took another bite, chewing quickly and looking around for signs that anyone besides them had been here in the last little while.
"I don't believe they mean harm. I don't know why, but we are meant to be down here." he looks over to her, smiling at the thought of that, "And I can't think of anyone better to be down here with." They needed to get higher and closer to the surface before he felt comfortable showing her exactly how he felt about her and how deep it went.
He went back to eating. He didn't realize just how hungry he was at that moment. But with each bite he was feeling energized and rested.

Starting to take a bite, she hesitated then placed the food down as she listened to him. A nod later, she replied.
"Yes, I've had that happen several times in my life. One...very, definite time was right before Rikki and Ash showed up in my village."
Her eyes took an otherworldly expression as she stared off as if completely lost in thought. Her food forgotten as he ate, she continued to look of in the distance, as if searching for something more.
A moment later she shook her head as her eyes teared up. She inhaled quickly, then bowed her head to look at her plate. Taking a bite, she said nothing, but the food tasted poor against her tongue. He could feel a sadness that swept through her, almost tugging her down.
Before he could speak, she gestured slightly with her hand, placing her hand on his leg. A light squeeze and he could feel the trembling in her hand.

He watched her, tilting his head as she grew distant. He could taste the pain. He wanted to ask, but that small gesture was noted and his hand fell on hers, wrapping around it and holding it tightly
~When you are ready my Love~ he would hold you and listen.
He ate the rest of his meal in silence, not letting go of her hand.
After they finished eating he wrapped his arm around her and just held her close for a for what little time they had before they needed to move from the chamber. He looks around this smaller cavern, noting the waterfall he had wanted to fly to the top of. Now that he was in the cavern he could see it was indeed narrower as it got taller. His eyes searched for paths and trails around it.
He counted 4 trails, 3 that went up immediately and one that didnt. He wondered which would be the correct one to take.
Tressel watched from the darkness of shadow. Hidden in the nooks and crannies, following the ancient paths she watched the two. She would have to reveal herself to them soon, then both would remember seeing her in their past. She remembered each meeting, they were both much younger and in much different circumstances. When Reldai met her it was in a time of great sorrow for the, at the time, young girl. It was brief, but she had been there to bring hope for a future she did not know yet. When Jezraith met her it was when he was greatly rejected by another, he was angry and wanted to hurt her, but she managed to reign in that anger, turning it on the fire caverns instead. Each time the meeting was brief and she was not remembered now, but soon they would remember such an brief moment in time that she caused the moment to be hidden though what they got from it remained with them even now.
oh how Tressel had longed to be known and remembered by all she had encountered, and she knew that soon all the lives she touched would remember.
The Others were away, watching their individual charges. She was alone in the caverns, except for these two. She wondered if at seeing her he would remember the ancient paths she took his ancestor through to get to the surface.
For now all that didn't matter as she looked forward to her appearing. The first ones would be brief and would provide guidance. So she moved in perfect silence, through the ancient paths, watching them as she found purchase near the place of the first revealing.

She picked at her food, keeping a tight hold to his hand. It felt as if she drew more strength from his touch than the nourishment the food provided.
Again and again the images played through her mind, until she forcefully pushed them aside. Only then did she notice his glancing about. She followed his gaze then offered softly.
"The center one...." indicating one of the trails he had been looking at.
